Peter Sellier’s second place finish was enough for the Mike’s Bikes rider to win the elite one overall category after the fourth and final race of the T&T Cycling Federation Mountain Bike League in Chaguaramas, on Saturday.
Sellier ended on 24 points overall ahead of Northern Rangers cyclist Ryan Chin (18 points) and Slipstream’s David Hackshaw (14 points). Sellier came second in the first event on April 26, then followed up with back-to-back wins in the second and third events on May 18 and June 14 respectively.
Dimitri Payne of Xterra won the elite two overall category with 15 points. Grabbing silver overall was Brent Hurdle (Unattached) with seven points, while Anthony Shaw (Northern Rangers) won bronze with six points.
