A man from Longdenville has become the nation’s latest murder in Enterprise, bringing the murder toll to 381.
According to reports, around 8.50 pm last night, Terrence Lewis, who is also known as “Biggs,” from Myers Lane, Old Longdenville Road, Longdenville was driving his white Mitsubishi pickup, licences plate number TCT5199 when he parked his car on the eastern side of Tobago Road, Enterprise.
An unnamed woman who was driving a white Tiida met with Lewis where they went into a straightening garage.
A witness saw the shadow of a man approach the garage, and then heard loud explosions. Police were called on the scene.
Lewis was found lying in a pool of his blood on the roadway with gunshot wounds all over his body. There was no trace of the unidentified woman.
The area was cordoned off, and the district medical officer pronounced Lewis dead on the scene. Lewis’ body was taken to the San Fernando Mortuary, and an autopsy is carded to be done on him today at the Forensic Science Centre, St James.
PC Hassanali and WPC Mitchell of the CD Operations Unit responded and cordoned off the area. The scene was processed and photographed. One Rock Island 45 calibre firearm with a magazine and 13 thirteen rounds of ammunition were recovered.
Investigations continue.
