You have made your point, Mr Duke

Looking at the news nightly it pains me to see people lining up to get their passports, only to be disappointed and dejected when it does not happen. Please Mr Duke, reconsider your stance. In today’s society, people are under tremendous stress, and for many, they value their vacation as a time to reconnect and spend quality time with their families. 

I understand your cause, and it is an admirable one, however I believe you have made your point. You have caused enough public angst to raise the visibility of what you are fighting for and you have got a response from the government, so please stick to your gentleman’s agreement.  Let the public experience less stress and let this vital service be restored.
