On fence, waiting to be chosen

Even this early in the game, it would appear that both the Independent Liberal Party (ILP) and the Congress of the People (COP) see themselves as necessary political appendages to either the United National Congress (UNC) and the People’s National Movement (PNM). The PNM has always “flown solo” and the incumbent UNC, if they can find enough suitable candidates, can also enter the general elections without bothering with small fries who would be looking for more than a little piece of the political action. The ILP and the COP have become the political fence sitters who may not be needed at all. Oh how the truth doth hurt. But politics continues to have a morality of its own.
