A 47-year-old Carapo man died in police custody yesterday at the Arima Police Station.
The dead man was identified as Troy Pascall.
Police said Pascall was found dead in the holding cell around 7 am. He was arrested around 4 am on Sunday near the Regiment’s facility at Camp Cumuto, Wallerfield, after he could not explain why he was there.
He was arrested and was expected to appear in court yesterday. Police said during the night other prisoners claimed Pascall was “behaving strange”.
