All rounder Quincy Eabel starred for Guayaguayare in their quarter-final clash of the Atlantic Inter-Schools cricket tournament at Mafeking in Mayaro yesterday, as they thumped Sangre Grande Hindu by 128 runs. Eabel struck an unbeaten 29 and together with Mike Grant 52 took Guayaguayare to an imposing 180 for six off their 25 overs. Sangre Grande in response were then bowled out for just 52, as off-spinner Eabel was too much to handle. The right hander bowled three overs one of which was a maiden and took five wickets for just four runs, including a hattrick. With the win Guayaguayare will now play Rochard Douglas Government in one of the semi-finals today, while WHIM Anglican will oppose Cunaripo in the other game at Shaw Park.
