Former national forward Learie Sandy holds his team’s trophy after the Northwestern State University (NSU) Lady Demons secured the Southland Conference title with a 62–44 win over rival team Stephen F Austin in the championship match, on Sunday.
Former national players Learie Sandy and Chenel Harris, both created history when they became the first T&T-born coaches to win NCAA Conference Championship titles, on Sunday.
