The John O’Brien trained threeyear- old Pauseforacoors is my nap selection to win today’s feature event for horses rated 90-70 over 1,100 metres on the main track at Santa Rosa Park in Arima.
Last week’s top jockey Brian Boodramsing will have the leg-up and could prove very difficult to catch.
Pauseforacoors has shown tremendous speed in her races and with 51 kilos looks shoed in to win today.
Shaffick Khan has Holy Man in good nick and the old man could go close in this event for Kerron Khelawan but getting to my selection looks beyond him at the weights. He could get the runner- up spot.
Magical Victory goes on both the main track and the turf but will have two kilos taken off his allotment by apprentice Andrew Poon. He could surprise them all.
Desert Dancer and Trini Aviator will be around but should not bother my selection.
The in-form Santa Cruz Lady comes out again seeking a hattrick of wins.
I think she is capable of winning three on the trot for trainer O’Brien and Boodramsingh.
Her main danger could come from stablemate Shangri La.
